The Getaway Show is the leading travel and outdoor show in Africa.
Now in its 20th year, the show is considered the benchmark by many in the industry. Taking place bi-annually in the Cape and Gauteng, the Getaway Show generates over R5.5million in media exposure, attracts over 35 000 visitors and hosts over 350 exhibitors.
Cape Getaway Show: 23 to 25 March 2012 – A Roaring Success!
The 2012 Cape Getaway Show was a wonderful day out for everyone who joined us! We are so pleased to announce that 17 862 visitors flocked through the show gates to enjoy 250 outdoor, travel and adventure exhibits, photographic workshops, hikes, mountain biking, heli flips, fun for the kids, delicious food and incredible prizes and show specials!
Gauteng Getaway Show: 31 August to 02 September 2012 – bookings now open!
The 2011 Gauteng Getaway Show took place from 2-4 September 2011 at the Coca-Cola dome in Gauteng. The show attracted 20 940 top quality visitors over the weekend, and our exhibitors were extremely pleased with the response! Stand bookings for the 2012 show are already open.
The 2011 show one again proved to be a fantastic day out for the whole family with over 400 interactive and informative exhibits, loads of show specials, incredible prizes and plenty of action including a climbing wall, Spin & Win, 4×4 simulators, quad bikes, bubble ball, quattro bunjy, a kiddies area and beer tent. Photography workshops were also held at the show – presented by our Getaway Editor and photojournalists.
