Every September, the Gauteng Getaway Show takes place at its traditional home, the Coca-Cola dome, and with each passing year it gets bigger and better. We’re talking more show specials, more incredible prizes, more interactive exhibits, more workshops and even more indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. In 2012, we had more than 260 exhibitors and welcomed 23 949 friends and family through the doors. It was a truly epic three days – and saw a 13% increase in visitor numbers. We were also thrilled to have our Minister of Tourism Marthinus van Schalkwyk join us on Friday to launch tourism month and officially open the show. What a moment!

Over three years, the Cape Getaway Show has grown bigger and better. We’re talking more Show specials, more incredible prizes, more interactive exhibits, more activities and even more indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. In 2013, we had more than 250 exhibitors and welcomed 15 524 visitors through the gates. It was a busy three days that saw a 30% increase in exhibitor numbers and 2014 is set to be even better, so be sure you don’t miss out on the fun.
